All day, monsoon rain splashed making Stars at my slippered feet. Now, the washed sky blazes Orange and then bleeds slowly, quietly. First magenta, then a dark black red Spawning and splashing across translucent Heavens, unfurling softly into Navy black. What a show! The final curtains are drawn. The evening hush applauds, uncurls and Stretches catlike. Its time she Retires into the tranquil night sky. Peace has once again dominion Over the firmament. Until tomorrow. |
